About Us

Yate Fairtrade Team began in 1998.

It was originally called YMC Traidcraft as all the members of the group were from Yate Methodist Church but in July 2004 the name changed as the group branched out of the Church to increase numbers and build more awareness of Fairtrade and the benefits of it.

The group now consists of 11 members each with a specific role; either as Publicity Co-ordinator, Secretary or Orderer to being a Sales Assistant – each of these roles are important and help make the team what it is.
